Omygod... I want to see the complete guitar. OwO
thanx, nearly there, got a few other projects to finish then il be back on it,got about a weeks worth of work left on it
Have I seen your work on another website? It looks familiar to some work by another guitar artist whose website I ran across on the web. I can't remember their name though, and I lost the link
no,dont have any other websites, there might be the odd photo floating around on f/b,theres a few guitar carvers around that produce some amazing work, this is my first attempt at it,have been meaning to do one for 15yrs after seeing a fender that had a small carving done around the top,i thought it looked pretty awesome and that i would go a step further and make and carve one from end to end in maori design ,finally got around to it
This is absolutely beautiful, can't wait to see it when it's finished.
This is the most wonderful guitar I've ever seen, even it's not finished. Brillant craftsmanship!
Wow, this is amazing. O_O
How long does something like this take? It's really really really really good
thanx, takes longer to design it so it fits and flows with the piece more than anything, couldnt really give u accurate hrs ,but i started july 2010 and have been off and on since, has about a weeks worth of work left
wow. absolutely stunning. how will you finish it? i would love to play this axe once in my life.
thanks, looking at a light tint laquer at the moment, still have abalone shell and jade inlays to go on the body and neck though
But how does it sound?
very quite at the moment, but once the strings, knobs, twin humbuckers&single coil are in place and plugged in,im hoping it sounds good
wow.. you're kidding, right? it's amazing, man!
Beautiful piece. Wish I could do art like that
I think this is going to turn out to be the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen. What kind of wood did you carve it from?
